Leveraging a unique educational approach that goes beyond classroom lectures, fourteen IT students from Junior College visited multinational video game developers 4A Games with the aim of gaining insights into how real life companies operate.
The initiative was driven by Malta Enterprise in collaboration with Junior College with the aim of building relationships between academia and the real business world.
Indeed, the visit provided students with a dynamic learning experience that merges education with a practical environment. At the company's studio, students were able to better understand the organisation, its workforce, the use/production of ICT, skills requirements, and work ethos. They also had the opportunity to gain insights into how the business works, its culture, and how different roles and functions work together within the company.
Malta Enterprise will be facilitating visits to other industry sectors throughout the scholastic year.
