Malta Enterprise Team Involved in H2020 Funded Project on Advanced Manufacturing Assistance and Training for SME Transpormation (ADMA TranS4MErs)

Maltese manufacturing SMEs can now benefit from fast, flexible, pan-European access to advanced manufacturing advice, expertise and training.  This is made possible due to the recently-launched  ADMA TranS4MErs project, bringing together a consortium of experts from EU-27 member states.

Malta Enterprise Public Artists’ Call

Entry Deadline: Extended until the 14th October, 2021

Malta Enterprise as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (hereinafter referred to as ‘CSR’) efforts, is inviting visual artists to submit up to 6 artworks in all visual art media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, etching, illustration, photography, textile, mixed media, digital, sculpture and ceramics, to participate in an upcoming exhibition:

 

Malta Enterprise & MEA Sign Cooperation Agreement

Malta Enterprise and the Malta Employers Association signed a cooperation agreement which will enhance collaboration between the two entities in the area of employment relations as well as contributing to MEAINDEX, an online resource for entrepreneurs.

The agreement cements the excellent relations between Malta Enterprise and MEA as a key social partner.  

ME and MEA have also agreed on sharing aggregated information for the purpose of data analysis of facts and figures in relation to employment in Malta. 

Roof structure lifted on new SR Technics facility

The roof structure was lifted on the new facility being built by aviation maintenance company SR Technics with an investment of €40 million, which project is expected to create 520 jobs.

Spread over 20,000sqm, the new facility includes workshop space and hangars that can accommodate up to one wide-body aircraft and three narrow-body aircraft or alternatively six narrow-body aircrafts all at once, for maintenance such as C-checks, modifications and retrofits.
