This measure facilitates value added projects, including new business initiatives, expansions and transformation activities that shall contribute to the regional development of Malta. The scheme may support various activities such as the initial development phase of undertakings establishing an operational base in Malta, expansion projects, consolidation of activities and the reengineering of business processes.
Support may be awarded in the form of tax credit or a cash grant. The incentive is available until 31st December, 2023.
