Invitation to support the EU Standardisation Regulation Impact Assessment – SME Survey, DDL 21 April 2026

The European Commission (Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship, and SMEs – DG GROW), in collaboration with an external consortium led by Intellera Consulting, is conducting an Impact Assessment to support the revision of the EU Standardisation Regulation (No 1025/2012).

As this initiative has been identified as “SME-relevant”, we are seeking to engage SMEs, including companies and industry organisations, to gather key insights on the potential costs and benefits of the policy options under consideration.

A PMC for preparation, drafting and delivery of a National Industrial Policy for Malta was published on etenders.gov.mt 

The purpose of this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) propasal submission is to gather market information prior to the publication of a Call for Tender for the preparation, drafting and delivery of a National Industial Policy for Malta in relation to the Government of Malta's wider Vision 2050. 

GSCM 2026 - Powering the Next Era of Semiconductors

Led by the Malta Semiconductor Competence Centre (MSCC), ChipStart EU is accepting applications for its second early-stage semiconductor incubator, building on the momentum of Cohort One.

Thsi no-equity, no-cost, one-year programme, delivered by Silicon Catalyst EU Ltd in collaboration with Malta Enterprise and supported by the Chips Joint Undertaing (Chips JU), helps EU-based semicondutor start-ups scale faster. 

Who can apply:
Early-stage semiconductor start-ups in the EU that have raised <$1.5M VC and/or Angel funding.

Chip Start EU Program

Malta Enterprise is proud to announce the opening of applications for the new Chip Start EU program.  A semiconductor incubator run by @SiliconCatalyst EU from Malta. This is part of Malta’s strategic vision under the Malta Competence Centre to spur semiconductor innovation in the EU.

We invite early-stage semiconductor startups (raised <€1.3M in VC/ angel funding) to apply for this unique program supporting them amongst other with no-cost access to tools, training, global networks, mentors and investors.

Expression of Interest for Technical Experts

Malta Enterprise notifies that it is receiving expressions of interest to establish a pool of technical experts. These experts will be engaged in evaluating scientific and technical aspects of various applications related to measures administered by Malta Enterprise.
